Open to the public since 1952 & situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the most idyllic location - surrounded by the River Wharfe & with beautiful views for miles - there's really nowhere better to spend a day out with family & friends.
Escape the hustle & bustle & get back to nature. Whether you want to play with the kids in the river or just relax with friends, you'll find that this is the place to visit! Enjoy a yummy BBQ lunch followed by an delicious ice cream from Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream & make the most of the beautiful sunshine this summer!

Parking is just £5/car for the whole day. Gates don't close until 8pm, so there's plenty of time to stay, play & make a day of it. (Please note, there is no entry after 5.30pm)
If you fancy a nice cool pint, our local pub, The Red Lion, is just a short stroll over the bridge.
We have Gents, Ladies, Disabled & Baby-Change facilities on-site & everything you could need for the day is so close by.
Please be aware, as we're just a field, we don't have any card payment facilities available. Please bring cash with you, as the nearest cash machine is in Grassington (4 miles away).

COVID-19 UPDATE:
We are pleased to announce that, as of 30/05/20, River Wharfe Car Park is now open!
In order to keep our guests, family and local community safe, we ask that customers park responsibly and do their best to adhere to the government's social distancing guidelines. Always be respectful of other guests, staff and local residents. Before visiting, we ask that you please take a minute to read through these rules and regulations…
• Parking is £8/car when paying by contactless card, or £10/car cash (please note, no change is given!)
• Entry permitted 9am - 5pm. Gates locked at 8pm.
• In order to reduce traffic congestion, please be patient and respectful, following staff instructions upon entering and exiting the car park.
• Please respect the countryside and take all your litter home!
• BBQs are allowed but MUST be kept off the grass! (Should you use stones to keep disposable BBQs off the ground, we ask that you please return them to the beach and take all BBQ waste home).
• When on the field, do not exceed the 10mph speed limit. Joyriding of any kind will not be tolerated, and fines will be issued.
• Please keep the volume of all in-car and portable audio systems to a minimum.
• Dogs are welcome, but please be sure to clean up after them and always keep them under control.
• Management takes no responsibility for cars or items left unattended.
• Please stay within the confines of the carpark field – the land across the river is private.
• Antisocial behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. The right to eject customers is at the absolute discretion of the manager.
• All guests will be asked to vacate the premises by 7.45pm
